I used to think AI chatbots were just for support tickets, then I ran a campaign in Portland
Last month I set up an AI chat tool to answer questions on a landing page for a local coffee shop's new delivery service. I figured it was just a FAQ bot, but it actually suggested a promo code for first-timers and bumped conversions by 18%. Has anyone else seen AI do more than expected when you give it a real goal, or was this just a fluke?

That’s a solid point about giving it a real goal. Once you stop treating it like a Q&A box and let it actually sell or solve, it can surprise you. Your coffee shop thing sounds like the bot just needed permission to be helpful, not just answer questions.
The 18% bump is probably not a fluke either. I’ve seen similar jumps when the tool has one clear job, like pushing a promo or booking a slot, instead of trying to handle everything. Give it one metric and watch it do the work.
