Local ads written by AI lack the human touch I miss

Lately, I see more local ads written by AI. The words are clean but have no soul. For example, the bakery and the hardware store near me use almost the same messaging. It feels like they're all following a template. I remember when ads had personality and made you feel something. Now, they just sound robotic and forgettable. This move to full AI content is a mistake for small businesses. We should use AI to help, not to replace our unique voice.

Generic messaging actually PUSHES customers away instead of drawing them in.

Watched my friend's cafe blast generic promo emails to its whole list. Regular customers got annoyed and left because it felt impersonal. She finally sent handwritten thank-you cards and suddenly everyone was raving about the place again.

Consider how handwritten notes make people feel seen in a way emails can't. James_martin93 is right about generic stuff pushing folks away, but I'd add that real connection actually pulls them back in. It's like the cafe switched from shouting at a crowd to having a quiet chat with a friend.
