That ChatGPT content brainstorm tool flopped hard for me

I compared Jasper and ChatGPT for writing product descriptions last week and Jasper blew it out of the water for consistency. ChatGPT gave me three wildly different tones for the same product and I spent an hour fixing them. Has anyone else had better luck sticking with one tool over another for copywriting?

Well I'll be... I was all in on ChatGPT for everything until last month when I had to write 30 product blurbs for a client. ChatGPT kept switching from funny to formal to way too salesy and I couldn't get it to stay in one lane. Jasper held the same tone through all 30 and I only had to tweak maybe 5 of them. I honestly thought the hype around specialized tools was overblown but this changed my mind completely.

30 product blurbs is not that many. If it took you an hour to fix all of Chat's screw ups you were probably spending too much time nitpicking and not enough time just forcing it to rewrite. Jasper is fine but acting like it changed your whole world because it held a consistent tone for 30 short descriptions is a little dramatic. Both tools can get the job done if you know how to prompt them right. People blame the tool when half the time they just threw in a bad prompt and expected magic.
