Three months ago my Facebook ad cost per click was $1.80, now it's $0.40 and I think I know why
I was just running my usual boosted posts to a broad audience in Austin and burning through budget fast. Then I started feeding all my past customer data into this AI tool that finds lookalike audiences based on purchase behavior. It pulled out patterns I never would have spotted myself, like how people who buy in the evening click way more than morning shoppers. After I let the AI optimize my targeting around those micro-segments, the algorithm started showing ads to smaller but way more relevant groups. The cost per click dropped like a rock over about two weeks and my conversion rate actually doubled. Has anyone else seen that kind of shift after letting AI handle audience selection instead of guessing yourself?

yeah I read that smaller targeted groups almost always outperform broad audiences with fb ads

Ugh it's so true though. Feels like every time I go broad I just burn through money with no real results.
