Finally got my torque seal game right after 6 months in the hangar

I kept seeing guys slap torque seal on like it was nail polish, just a random dab anywhere on the bolt. It drove me nuts because you can't tell if the bolt actually moved after a run. Last week I started putting a clean stripe across the bolt head and the surrounding surface, and now my lead mechanic actually noticed and said it looked legit. Anyone else have pet peeves about how people mark their torques?

Ngl bro putting a stripe across was a game changer. My lead was shook.

Ask @dylanwilliams if he meant just one stripe down the middle or like a full on racing stripe setup. Cause I tried doing two thin ones on my saw and it felt like overkill after a few cuts. But yeah man, anything that breaks up the edge pattern really messes with their depth perception. I've noticed the same thing with my climbing gear too - a little bit of color change throws off their reaction time way more than you'd think. What type of stripe we talking here - tape or paint?
