I finally figured out why my torque wrench readings kept drifting

Been doing line maintenance for 6 years at the Orlando hub and always blamed the tool when fastener checks felt off. Last month a senior tech watched me and pointed out I was gripping the handle way past the knurled grip, which changes the leverage. Took me about 12 tries to break the habit, but now my readings match the gauge on the first pass. Anyone else pick up a weird physical habit that took someone older to call out?
