Old timer told me I was chasing rivets wrong for 2 years

He said stop starting at the center and work from the edges inward instead. Tried it on a wing panel yesterday and the alignment came out way cleaner. Anyone else get a tip that made you feel like an idiot for not knowing it sooner?

Shook my head reading that because I've been doing it from the center out for years too. Your mileage may vary but I'm definitely trying the edge-in method on my next panel.

Sticking to the edges first saved me a lot of overspray @ryanprice.
