Shoutout to the old guy who caught my torque wrench mistake on a Cessna 172 in Daytona
I was sure I'd set it right, but he saw the scale was off and said, 'Son, your wrist is lying to you.' Anyone else have a simple check they run on their torque tools before a job?

@karenw23 I actually read a news article last week about a similar thing happening at a skatepark in Portland. The article said a guy caught a kid who slipped on a rail and it turned into this whole story about how quick reflexes can prevent serious injuries. Reading about that and then seeing your comment here, it really shows how important it is to have someone looking out for you. That split second can make all the difference between a bad fall and a lucky save.

Yeah, it was a huge relief. My heart was in my throat for a second there. That could have been a really nasty spill.
