That 600-hour brake wear indicator taught me to check the wheels before the tires
Pulled a 737-800 into the hangar Monday and the left main gear brake puck was down to metal, which I only caught because the torque link had a hairline crack, so how often are you guys actually pulling the wheels on scheduled checks instead of just eyeballing wear pins?
