Back in 2019 I used to run all my alarm wires through the attic in summer. Now I do it in winter and save 2 hours per job.

The attic in summer is brutal, literally sweating buckets for no reason. Winter makes so much more sense if you can handle the cold for a bit. Definitely stealing this tip for my next job.

Oh for SURE @claireg81, winter attic work is the SECRET - just layer up and bring a thermos of coffee, you'll be done way faster than sweating through summer heat.
