Changed my mind about wireless sensors after a hospital job last month

I always thought hardwired was the only way to go for reliability. But I did a install at a historic building downtown, an old church turned into a clinic. They didn't want us drilling into the original plaster walls. Had to use wireless door and motion sensors for the whole place. Setup was smooth and zero false alarms in 3 weeks. Any of you guys had good luck with wireless in tricky spots?

Man I heard somewhere that wireless tech has come a long way in the last few years. Good to hear it worked out on a tricky install like that.

Wait... you're telling me they let you use wireless in an old church with original plaster? That's wild. Sounds like a nightmare to me at first. @the_jennifer is right though, the tech has gotten way better. I did a similar job in a 1920s house with horsehair plaster and the wireless sensors picked up everything fine. No false alarms, no signal drops, just worked. Still think hardwired is safer for critical stuff but for historic places it's a lifesaver...
