Finally caught my motion detector blind spot after a year of false alarms

I've been installing Bosch Blue Line sensors for a while and kept getting calls from a customer about false triggers at night. After replacing batteries, repositioning the unit, even swapping out the whole detector, nothing fixed it. Then I noticed their cat was setting off the alarm every time it jumped onto the windowsill right inside the detection zone. Turns out I had the pet immunity setting way too low on that model. I checked the manual again and realized I'd been skipping that dip switch configuration for months. Has anyone else dealt with a similar blind spot that was just a setting you missed?
