Just blew $150 on a cellular dialer that doesn't work with my panel

I bought a 4G LTE dialer off Amazon last week for a Honeywell Vista 20p install. Got it in, hooked it up per the manual, and the panel just kept flashing 'COMM FAILURE'. Spent 3 hours on hold with tech support before they told me it's not compatible with firmware versions after 4.0. Now I gotta eat the cost plus pay for return shipping. Anyone else run into compatibility issues jumping into cellular upgrades?

Check the manual again, Vista 20p needs firmware 4.0 or below for that dialer.

@ruby_lane nailed it tbh. I flashed my Vista firmware back and it worked perfectly lol.
