Overheard a fire alarm inspector complaining about wireless zones overlapping and it clicked
He said he had three different sensors in a basement all chirping at once because the installers didn't check the frequency channels, and I realized I've been doing the same thing with my wireless keypads. Anyone else ever get false alarms from channel overlap on a big job?

Heard a friend say the same thing about his commercial job last month.

Yeah, "he said the same thing" is exactly what I heard from a buddy who runs a small repair shop. He rented a unit from a guy who seemed fine at first, then the landlord started dragging his feet on fixing the AC in the summer. Took three months and a lawyer letter to get it done. Some of these owners just don't care once they've got your signature on a lease.

But honestly though, maybe his friend just got unlucky or had a bad property. I've seen plenty of commercial tenants who are total nightmares - treating the space like garbage, paying late every month, breaking stuff constantly. Landlords aren't always the bad guys here lol. My buddy manages a strip mall and one of his tenants literally left a grease fire in the dumpster that almost burned the whole place down. Another one was running some shady side business out of their unit at 2am. Sometimes you get what you pay for and if someone's getting a cheap lease, they're probably bringing their own problems too.
