That new subdivision in Raleigh last month had me pulling my hair out
I was wiring up a 12-panel system in a brand new build and every single alarm cable was stapled WAY too tight, like they used a hammer instead of a staple gun. Spent 3 hours on Friday just fixing shorts and bad connections before I could even start programming the panel. Has anyone else seen builders rushing rough-ins so bad lately that basic wire work is causing major delays?

The other day I pulled up to a job site and the rough-in guys had left their coffee cups sitting on top of the open panel box, right where the main lugs were. I mean who does that? I had to wipe everything down with alcohol and check for any liquid damage before I even touched the wires. And then I find out the drywall crew had nailed a picture hanger right through a 14 gauge romex in the living room wall. That was a mess to fix, took me an extra hour to patch and reroute. Its like nobody cares about the details anymore, just get it done and move on.
