The 2008 retrofit job in Columbus that changed my panel wiring habits
Doing a hardwire takeover in an old church basement, I found every splice wrapped in cloth tape and buried in the ceiling, nothing labeled. Took me 4 hours to trace one zone and it made me start running new homeruns on every upgrade instead of trusting old wire. Anyone else refuse to reuse existing wiring after a nightmare like that?
