Bought a $20 Holga off a flea market table, figured it was a toy, now it's my favorite walk-around cam

The plastic lens gives everything this wobbly glow that no amount of editing on my SLR can match, so who else has shot one of these and ended up loving the flaws?

Funny thing about those Holga lenses, they have a mind of their own. I picked one up years ago, shot a whole roll of my sister's wedding with it, and every single photo came out looking like a dream someone had before they woke up. The groom's face was half melted into the church window, but somehow it was the most honest picture of that day. My brother still has it framed in his office, and people always ask what filter he used. Told him to just say it was a 20 dollar mistake that turned into a family heirloom.
