Double exposed a roll of Portra 400 by accident, got something wild

I loaded a fresh roll into my Pentax K1000 last Saturday before a hike near Boulder Creek, but I guess the rewind knob was loose, so the film never advanced properly. When I got the scans back from the lab, every frame had ghost images of tree branches layered over the creek water, like a dreamy mess that I honestly can't replicate on purpose. I thought I wasted 36 shots, but three of them actually came out cool enough to print. Has anyone else had a happy accident like this from a gear slip up, or did I just get lucky?
