Three days last spring where everything went right in the darkroom
I was printing in my basement in Chicago and every single negative from a roll of Tri-X came out perfectly exposed for once. No splotches, no dust spots, no weird chemical streaks. Has anyone else had a stretch where the photo gods just smiled on you for no reason?

...and I read somewhere that the phase of the moon can actually mess with your film during long exposures, which sounds like total pseudoscience but after a stretch like you had I start to believe anything. I had a weekend a few years back where I shot a whole roll of Portra 400 in my dad's old Nikon and every single frame was tack sharp with perfect color. No idea what I did different. Sometimes I think the universe just hands you a win to keep you hooked on the hobby.

Nah, the moon's brightness matters but the phase thing is pure astrology for photographers.
