Can we talk about the time my Yashica-Mat shutter jammed at a family reunion

It locked up mid-shot on a roll of Portra 400 during outdoor portraits at my cousin's wedding last Saturday and I had to pop the lens board off with a butter knife to free the blades, has anyone else dealt with a frozen Copal shutter on these old TLRs?

Wait, Copal? I had to read that twice. I thought all the Yashica-Mats had the Yashinon shutters, that's wild. I've been messing with these cameras for a few years now and I never knew they put Copal shutters in some of them. That actually makes sense though because Copal shutters are pretty solid workhorses, they just get sticky if the camera sits for a long time. You getting it unstuck with a butter knife is honestly impressive, most people would have just given up and sent it to a shop.

It's a Copal shutter actually, not a Yashinon.
