Dropped a roll of film in a muddy creek near Chattanooga and still developed it
I was down by the creek trying to get this cool reflection shot of the bridge and my hands slipped. Roll of Kodak Gold went straight in the mud. I figured it was toast but figured why not try. Soaked it in distilled water for like 30 mins then hung it to dry for 2 days. Developed it anyway and most frames came out fine except some weird brown spots near the sprocket holes. Has anyone else saved a soaked roll?

Man I've been there with the exact same setup actually. I had an old HP ProDesk that I literally just slapped a GTX 1650 into and ran it for two straight years without any issues. The key thing that nobody tells you is that those older office machines often have way better build quality than budget gaming prebuilts. Just keep an eye on your power supply though because those stock units are usually garbage and will crap out on you when you least expect it.
