Hit 100 rolls of film in 14 months. Did not expect that.

Started keeping a log last January. Just a simple notebook, date and location. Last week I counted the entries. 100 rolls exactly. That's like 2 a week for over a year. I thought I was maybe at 60. The math surprised me because I only develop in batches of 5. Turns out I've been doing a batch every 3 weeks without noticing. Anyone else keep a shot count? Or do you just lose track like I did.

My last roll was number 87 and I only know that cause I wrote it on the box with a sharpie. Before that I had zero clue. I went through a phase last summer where I shot a roll almost every single day for like six weeks straight, just walking around the city after work. When I finally developed them all I was shocked at how many I had sitting in the fridge. It feels like the whole process just sneaks up on you, especially when you're not counting each roll as it goes through the camera. Now I keep a little tally in my phone notes but I still forget to update it half the time. You're not alone on this, I bet most people who shoot regularly are way over what they think they shot.
