My craziest day at the antique car show in Ohio - shot 6 rolls in 3 hours

The light was perfect, I saw a '57 Bel Air with original chrome, and I ran out of film halfway through a burnout session. Has anyone else ever missed a shot because you forgot to pack extra rolls?

Back in the day I'd carry enough film to photograph a small wedding, and somehow still run out. Sounds like you had one of those perfect light days where everything just pops, the kind that makes you wish you brought a second camera body. At least with digital we don't have that panic anymore, but there was something special about that little click and wind of the advance lever. Missing a burnout because you ran out of film is a classic old school photographer problem though.

Missed a shot because I forgot film... yeah, that's annoying but it's not exactly a tragedy. You had a full day, got 6 rolls in 3 hours, that's a pretty good haul already. Missing one burnout shot isn't going to ruin your whole life, you know? People act like running out of film is the end of the world but it's just a hobby, not a wedding you're getting paid for. If it was that big of a deal you could have borrowed a roll from someone else there or just bought more at the concession stand.
