My local lab's scans looked totally different after I switched developers

I've been getting C-41 developed at the same shop on Broadway for like 5 years and my scans always had this weird green cast. Last month they switched from that old Fuji chemistry to a new brand, I think it's Bellini or something. Same camera, same film stock, same store, but now my greens are actually green and skin tones look way more natural. Has anyone else noticed a big shift when their lab changes chemicals, or is it just me?

Three years at my spot in Portland and the exact same thing happened to me. They swapped from some old Rollei kit to the Tetenal stuff and suddenly my Portra 400 looked like a different film entirely, that sickly yellow-green just vanished. I actually thought my scanner was broken at first because the colors were so different, had to recalibrate my whole editing workflow. It's wild how much the chemistry matters, I even went back and re-scanned some old negatives and those still had the old cast, so it's definitely the developer not my camera. Makes me wonder how many rolls I shot before that I thought were just bad lighting when it was really the chems all along.
