Talked to a guy at a garage sale who still shoots his dad's old Polaroid from 1972
He said the camera has never been cleaned and still nails exposure every time. Made me rethink all the careful metering I do with my Pentax - maybe I'm overthinking this stuff.

Nah, it's more about who you know. Get in early, build real relationships, and things just happen. That's how it works.
