Flea market busts from 2019 vs now, am I the only one seeing this?

Back in 2019 I pulled a Constantius II from a junk bin at the Rose Bowl flea for $4, patina was textbook. This season, same dealer wants $60 for a coin that looks like it was scrubbed with a wire brush, and it's got that fake sandy look they use on new fakes. I get that supply dried up, but has anyone else noticed the quality of uncleaned lots tanking over the last 2 years, or is it just my local circuit? What's your cutoff for paying more than $20 on a coin with no provenance?
