Bought a $30 countertop compost bin, plastic cracked in 2 weeks

The cheap bin from Target looked fine. Lid snapped on the third use. Worms got out, smelled awful. Wife was ready to quit composting. Back to a 5 gallon bucket with a tight lid. Has anyone found a small bin that actually lasts more than a season?

Yeah, ditched bins. Old metal trash can with lid works perfect.
