Can we talk about using a 2-gallon bucket with a lid under the sink for coffee grounds and eggshells?
Last month, after my old countertop bin kept smelling, I started keeping a sealed bucket under there, and it's been a total game-changer for managing odor in my 600-square-foot place... anyone else have a simple setup that actually works?

Oh man, that sloshy bucket problem is too real. I tried the same thing last year and it was a disaster, I ended up spilling old coffee sludge all over my kitchen floor. Now I just use those brown paper lunch bags for my grounds and shells, fold the top over, and toss the whole bag. It's not perfect but at least it's not a liquid mess to carry.

Nice! The sealed bucket is smart. But what do you do when it's full? I tried something similar, but then I was stuck with a heavy, sloshy bucket to carry out. Do you just dump it in your building's compost, or do you have a trick for that part too?
