Had a week where my bokashi bin went completely wrong and fermented sour instead of pickling
I opened it up Tuesday and the whole thing smelled like a brewery mixed with rotten eggs (you know, that sulfur punch), and now I'm wondering if I added too much brown sugar or just let it go too long between layers - has anyone else had the bin turn on them like that?

Eh I dunno, I think the brown sugar thing gets blamed for everything but unless you dumped a whole bag in there it's probably fine. More likely you just let it sit too long without adding more greens or mixing it up enough.

Add more brown sugar anyway, it helps kickstart things if it's slowed down.
