Hit 500 dryer vent cleanings this month and found something scary
I'm not bragging about numbers, just hit my 500th dryer vent cleaning and every third job had a lint buildup that could have started a fire. One house had lint packed so tight the vent was almost solid. Has anyone else seen this many risky setups in a row?

Are you finding that lint is just getting more aggressive lately or is it me? I cleaned out my own vent last weekend and felt like I was excavating an archaeological site full of pet hair and dust bunnies. It was so packed I half expected to find a lost mailman in there. My wife said I looked like a yeti when I came out, covered in all that gray fluff.

Man I felt that one in my bones. I tackled my own dryer vent last month and came out looking like I'd lost a fight with a sheep. The lint was so thick I swear I found a fossilized Pop-Tart in there from 2019. My crew still gives me crap about it, saying I looked like a yeti that got hit with a snowblower. But hey, at least the house didn't burn down, right?
