I finally figured out why that GE dryer kept tripping the breaker at the Johnson job site last week

Turns out the thermal fuse was blown, but the real kicker was a cracked drum support roller that was causing the belt to rub against the wiring harness - has anyone else run into this mess on a 3-year-old model?

Read a repair blog last week that said those rollers crack way too early on that model, @nora535.

Figure out if the whole drum assembly is warped too, that usually follows the cracked rollers.

Did you check if the drum support brackets were bent too?
