Am I the only one who thinks the big deal about that new tomb find is kinda overhyped? Had an awkward moment when I said so at a local history club meeting.

Honestly, I used to think those clubs were just for trivia nerds until I saw a debate over how we remember certain wars. Watching them pick apart textbook lies was wild, changed my whole view on why people join. Now the awkward bits seem almost worth it.

Those clubs can be a real mixed bag. My local one spent twenty minutes once arguing about the right way to pronounce "Herodotus". Makes the actual history seem easy after that.
