Hot take: I think the whole "ancient aliens built the pyramids" crowd is just disrespectful to actual Egyptian engineers

Had a guy at a local museum show in Cleveland last month tell me there's "no way" regular humans moved those stones. I asked him if he's ever tried moving a 2 ton block on logs. He just stared at me. We have actual records of the work crews, their tools, their daily rations. Why is it so hard to believe they figured it out over generations? Anyone else get tired of this argument at every dig site talk?
