Rant: carbon dating of that Jericho tower is way off

I was at a dig site outside Jericho in 2018 when our team found charcoal layers that the lead archaeologist insisted were 10,000 years old, but after I actually read the lab notes the carbon dates showed a 2,000 year margin of error and nobody wanted to redo the test, so who else has seen dating get pushed to fit a popular theory?

Yeah I used to trust carbon dating completely but seeing those margins changed my mind too.

Nah, margins of error are just part of science, not a conspiracy.
