TIL at a dig last month I was cleaning pottery wrong for like 5 years
A volunteer who used to work at a museum showed me you're supposed to dry brush first not wet scrub and I basically ruined a dozen sherds before she said something, has anyone else had that 'oh no' moment with their technique?
