Spent 3 hours hunting down a phantom water leak in my apartment bathroom last night

Turned out to be a tiny crack in the supply line behind the toilet that only dripped when the toilet flushed. Has anyone else dealt with a leak that only happens under specific conditions like that?

Isnt it wild how the universe always hides the obvious stuff until you've wasted a solid chunk of your life looking for it? In my experience, this kind of sneaky problem pops up all the time with appliances and plumbing, where the issue only shows up when pressure or temperature changes. Take it with a grain of salt, but I swear half of home repairs are just learning the secret handshake your pipes are using to mess with you.

Legit had a fridge hum wrong for six months before I found out it was just the door seal getting mad when it was humid. My electric bill cried for 180 days straight because I was too stubborn to look at the obvious spot first.

Legit had a washing machine that kept shaking like it was trying to breakdance across the floor. Spent two weeks leveling it, rebalancing loads, even bought those anti-vibration pads. Turned out one sock got wedged under a leg and was making the whole thing wobble. The universe just wanted me to learn patience, I guess.
