That neighbor who tried to talk me out of tankless water heaters
Last month my neighbor in Austin kept saying tankless units are a waste of money for a family of four. He claimed the flow rate would drop too much when two showers run at once. Has anyone else found that modern tankless heaters actually keep up fine in a typical home?

Friend of mine in San Antonio put one in last year. Family of five, two teenagers who take forever in the shower. He said it handles two bathrooms running just fine, even with the dishwasher going. No cold surprises, no flow drop like that neighbor claims. Think that neighbor just heard some old horror story and ran with it.

@wesleypatel that neighbor probably heard one bad story from 2015 and decided that was the final word on tankless forever.
