Tried that fancy lawn service from GreenLeaf out of Austin for 3 months

Everyone in my neighborhood raves about GreenLeaf and how green their lawns get, but I had the opposite experience. They came out 4 times and overspray killed a strip of my wife's flower bed along the fence line, plus my grass looked just as patchy as before. When I called to ask about it, they told me it was normal and offered a $20 discount on next service. Has anyone else had a bad run with those big name lawn companies or did I just get a rookie crew?

Oh man, you paid them for that? A $20 discount after they killed your flowers. That's like a waiter spilling soup on you and offering a free breadstick. I swear these big lawn companies bank on people just giving up and not complaining. They probably figured one dead flower bed is cheaper than actually training their crews. But seriously, a patchy lawn is the whole reason you call someone in the first place. What's the point of paying for a service that makes your yard look worse and kills your landscaping? Sounds like you got sold a fancy ad and a rookie with a sprayer.
