Am I the only one who didn't know to stop shooting at f/2.8 on my telescope?
Posted a shot of Andromeda on r/astrophotography and someone said my stars looked like bloated blobs because I was shooting wide open, so I stopped down to f/5 and got way tighter stars in my next session.

Stopping down felt wrong to me until I saw how much sharper my stars got.
