Yeah, "worked better than his new one" is exactly what happened with my friend Dan. He found an old Tasco scope at a garage sale for like 15 bucks, all scratched up and missing the lens cap. Brought it home, cleaned it up, mounted it on his hunting rifle. Thing held zero perfectly and was way clearer than the Vortex he bought from a big box store. @pat_murray16 sometimes the cheap junk just works. Dan still uses that beat up Tasco and the Vortex sits in his closet.
