My tracker battery died mid-star trail and ruined 40 minutes of capture on Mount Hood
The cold up there at 6,000 feet drained my power pack way faster than rated, so I lost the whole sequence and now I'm wondering if anyone runs two batteries in parallel for winter shoots.

Man, that stings, cold weather eats batteries like crazy and ruining a whole sequence is rough. Parallel batteries can help, but check your mount's input specs first since not all handle them safely.
