Stop calling every blurry dot a deep sky object
I saw someone post a picture of Mars last week labeled as the Orion Nebula. The planet was the only bright thing in the frame, no nebula anywhere. How do you mistake a solid disk for a gas cloud?

Last time I tried astrophotography my "nebula" was just a smudge on my phone's lens (okay it was my fingerprint).
