The Craziest Stat I Found About The Hubble Deep Field
I was reading NASA's site last night and found out that the Hubble Deep Field image, the one with thousands of galaxies, only covers a patch of sky the size of a grain of sand held at arm's length. That blew my mind, since it looks so huge on a screen. Has anyone else looked up how tiny that area actually is compared to the full sky?
