Textbook example of why more integration time wins" is exactly right. I tried something similar with Andromeda from my old place near the city. After 30 frames it was just a gray smudge. Pushed it to 150 and the spiral arms actually showed up. It's a grind but you can't argue with the extra light.

Stacking 200 frames really cuts through that Phoenix light pollution. The extra data smooths out the noise and pulls way more detail from the dust. It's a textbook example of why more integration time wins.
