Update: Had to pick between a cheap star tracker or a better mount for my old camera
Went with the tracker to save cash, but my 30-second exposures from last night are all blurry. Anyone know a good budget mount for a Canon T3i?

Grabbed a used iOptron SkyGuider Pro after my tracker failed. It handled my old DSLR way better for longer exposures without breaking the bank. That extra stability made all the difference for me.

Ever wonder if the used market for these is better than buying new? Feels like the older ones were built to last.

Built to last" is kind of hit or miss with older astro gear though. I've had a couple of used mounts that were totally fine but also one that had a motor that sounded like it was dying. New at least comes with a warranty, and if something breaks you can actually get it fixed.
