Watched Jupiter's bands in my old shots vs new ones from the same scope after cleaning the corrector plate

Compared 2 year old frames to shots from Friday night in my backyard, and the cloud belts actually pop now instead of looking like a blurry smear. Has anyone else seen that big a jump just from a lens cleaning and recollimation?
