Went to a star party in Flagstaff and my whole framing strategy changed

I saw someone's shot of Andromeda with a wide field and realized I'd been cropping way too tight for years. Anyone else have a moment that flipped their approach like that?

Flagstaff's dark skies really show how much context you lose with a tight crop.
