Went to a star party in Flagstaff and my whole framing strategy changed

I saw someone's shot of Andromeda with a wide field and realized I'd been cropping way too tight for years. Anyone else have a moment that flipped their approach like that?

You ever notice how people frame their whole lives too tight, like they're so zoomed in on the small stuff they miss the bigger picture around them?

Flagstaff's dark skies really show how much context you lose with a tight crop.
