Why does nobody talk about how much a proper mount matters for deep space shots?
I used my old photo tripod for months, then borrowed a friend's Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro. The difference in star sharpness after a 3-minute exposure was like night and day. Is a good mount really that much more important than the camera or telescope itself?

My first long exposure was just a blurry mess until I got the mount right.

Mounts are everything. My first few tries were just shaky lines where stars should be. I was so mad. A cheap tripod on grass is a recipe for blur. Even pressing the shutter can ruin it. I learned to use a two second timer and weigh the tripod down with my camera bag. Night and day difference.
