Heard that stuff is pretty common on old Civics but Bondo isn't really meant for that kind of repair. It's more for small dents and holes, not holding together a whole quarter panel that's probably rusted out underneath. The moisture will get trapped behind there and just make the rust worse over time. I'd bet money there's more rust hidden under that Bondo than what you can see on the surface.

People always throw a quick fix at something just to avoid dealing with the real problem underneath.
