I swear by 3M's heavy body filler instead of the premium stuff everyone pushes
Walked into my shop in Omaha last Tuesday and the usual supplier was out of the Rage Gold everyone here loves. Grabbed a can of 3M Platinum Plus on a whim (figured it was the same parent company, how different could it be?). After using it for a week straight on a 2018 F-150 side panel repair, I actually like it better. Less pinholing in my experience, sands down smoother for me. Am I the only one who thinks the expensive stuff is overrated for everyday collision work?

Stick with the Rage Gold and you'll have WAY less trouble with shrinkage over time.

Man I bought a roll of that stuff and half of it just crumbled in my hands before I even got it on the roof.
